Hayley Orrantia is the American actor, singer and songwriter. Most people know her as Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. But, she is to be primarily as a musician. Music, according to her, is first thing she enjoys. She started playing with the instrument at the age of nine. At 12 years old, the music she was playing took more serious form and she began to train professionally. As a teenager when she began writing herself songs. Her first cover album didn't come out until 14 years after. It has been non-stop since then. Orrantia is a native of America but with Hispanic roots. Despite the fact that she only spoke English growing up and had never been to Mexico, Orrantia is extremely happy with her Hispanic origins. To preserve the heritage she's enrolled in Spanish. Also, she writes songs using the Spanish language. One of her efforts was an original Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' Orrantia appeared in The X Factor season 1's auditions in the summer of 2011. The Orrantia's YouTube video was picked and she got four "yeses" (or votes) for the judges during the Seattle audition. The first time she auditioned, she was performing as a solo artist, however after "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were added to an ensemble to go through the auditions. They were eliminated at the final show.
