Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the United States for more than 40 years. She is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). The actress began her career as a stage performer in the 1950s starting by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In 1956, she got her first big break with a performance on Broadway with Li'l Abner. The singer also released her debut album, titled It's Time to Tina during the same year. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The film was praised widely as well as Louise received her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. During this time she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to move between Broadway and Hollywood portraying somber character as against her famous image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years Tapping has also emerged as an acclaimed director of well-known television series such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birth date was August 28, 1965 in Essex. When she was 3, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of throughout her early years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and she has settled down in Toronto ever since.
