David-Muir

David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is an American journalist, anchor and reporter. He is most well-known for World News Tonight. Its dramatic video footage and the animated movements make it the most popular newscast in the United States. Made In America was nominated for an Emmy. He was the predecessor to Diane Sawyer was the anchor of ABC World News Tonight before becoming the anchor. ABC News has broadcast many specials in primetime, one of them being Breaking Point Heroin in America. His journeys took him to the far regions of the globe, from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and more. He's been awarded numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as numerous honors and awards by The Associated Press.
