Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and advocate for animal rights in the United States. Her movies comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). Born and raised in an artistic family living in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of art. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. She won the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as an aspiring young actress. MacGraw became a global celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. Within three years she was named the number one female box-office starter in the whole world. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she got her name and footprints hand-engraved. Her other credits include The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and other. Moving Pictures is her autobiography released in 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
